Millersville Animal Hospital was originally founded in 1990 by Dr.
Richard Rodgers as Benfield Animal Hospital. His experience and
expertise built a solid foundation on which the hospital could flourish.
After working as an associate with Dr. Rodgers, Dr. Michael Rommel
acquired the hospital in 2001 and soon after changed the name. In
2003, Dr. Timothy Trigilio added his talents to our team.
We quickly outgrew our original facility on the front of the building
and we began searching fro a larger space to handle our growing
clientele. After almost two years of searching, planning and
building, we moved into our new facility above the original hospital in
2005. It is more than twice the size of the original hospital and
is still ground-level (no stairs needed), but is accessed from the rear
of the building.
Dr. Katie Laning joined our team in 2007, bringing her years of
experience and a fresh perspective on treatment options. We look
forward to being your trusted source for your pet's health needs for
many years to come.
