Dr. Michael Rommel

Michael E. Rommel, VMD

After working as an associate veterinarian at animal hospitals in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, LaVale, Maryland and Pasadena, Maryland, Dr. Rommel was able to fulfill his dream of owning a practice in 2001.  His professional focus is surgery and dentistry.

Dr. Rommel lives with his wife Jennifer Rommel, DVM  and two children.  Louie, a rescued, blind Bichon Frise and two parakeets complete his household.  In his spare time Dr. Rommel plays piano and bass guitar for Safe Harbor Presbyterian Church.

Dr. Timothy Trigilio

Timothy S. Trigilio, DVM

Dr. T has been with Millersville Animal Hospital since 2002. He enjoys educating pet owners about preventative health care and general pet wellness, increasing the quality of life for both owners and pets.

When not working as a veterinarian, Dr. T teaches classes about home brewing and beer education for the Anne Arundel Community College, School of Hospitality, Culinary Arts, and Tourism.

Dr. Katherine Laning

Katherine M. Laning, DVM

Dr. Laning has been a long time resident of Anne Arundel County and had practiced at other area hospitals before joining Millersville Animal Hospital in 2007.

Her professional interests include ultrasonography and internal medicine.

Dr. Laning currently resides in Severna Park with her husband James, two childeren, two cats and two guinea pigs.  She is an active member of Bay Area Community Church.

After working as a vet tech in Glen Burnie for several years, Melissa joined our team in September of 2005. She along with husband Kevin and daughter Rylee share their home with their dog Rafe and 2 rats named Fergus Macleod and Lucifer.

After working at Pasadena Animal Hospital for many years Kim has now been with our hospital for more than 10 years.  She has always enjoyed working with animals and has a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Tilley.  She is married and has 3 grown children, 5 grandchildren and 3 grand-dogs!

Rhiannon joined our team in early spring of 2013 while interning for her certification class in Veterinary Assisting at Anne Arundel Community College. She has always had a great love for animals. She has had many pets through the years, and currently has 2 Pit Bulls (Kami and Mus) and 2 cats (Gnargles and Ichabod).

After working at The Pet Salon for 3 years Courtney joined our team in 2014.  She enjoys the employee perk of discounted medical care for her Neapolitan Mastiff, Capone (who has Addison's disease), her dachsund-mix Meko, cat Chucky, and Wiz, her cornsnake.  Her biggest liability is she wants to adopt too many dogs and cats that come through our doors.

Kelly came to us in November of 2016 with 3 years of tech experience. She has a special interest in Ultrasound technology, and can't see herself in any other field of work. Kelly, her husband Mike, and their 2 boys Michael and Noah share their home with their dog Paisley, and their 2 cats Binx and Zorro.

Desarae

Desarae starting working with us in the fall of 2017 while she was a senior in high school.  She's a natural with our dog and cat patients and she spends as much time with her horse, Thunder, as she can.  She plans to attend AACC this fall working towards some type of medical career (she's not sure if it will be human or animal. . .)
